With over three decades of experience in executive search and top management positions across diverse industries, Lumir offers clients solutions that extend beyond traditional executive search services. His specialization lies in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region, with a particular emphasis on the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Italy.

Before joining Neumann Executive, Lumir held key leadership positions at Spencer Stuart, where he conducted C-suite searches in the Central and Eastern European region. During his nearly 5-year tenure, he demonstrated exceptional proficiency in serving clients in private equity, financial services, consulting, and the industrial sectors. As a Managing Partner, he assumed a pivotal role in leading the firm's operations in the Czech and Slovak republics.

Lumir's career also includes an impressive 8-year term as the President at PPF in China, the foremost investment group in the CEE region. In this capacity, he assumed full profit and loss responsibility and managed complex communications within the intricate Chinese market, engaging with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders, including media outlets, government agencies, regulators, funding partners, investors, and others.

Lumir possesses a deep understanding of both Eastern European and Asian cultures, enabling clients to fully harness his expertise in navigating diverse cultural contexts. Additionally, he is proficient in Czech, English, and Mandarin, with functional competence in French, German, and Russian.

His educational background includes a Master's degree in Foreign Trade from Prague University of Economics and Business. Later in his career, he completed an Executive MBA program at the University of Pittsburgh, further enhancing his leadership skills. Notably, Lumir successfully passed the tax advisor a nd auditor exams, showcasing his expertise in these fields.

Originally from the Czech Republic, Lumir spent 11 years living in China and has had the opportunity to explore all continents except Antarctica. He lives by the motto, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," approaching daily life with a strong sense of empathy and fairness.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Lumir actively participates in sports, competing in tennis in the German tennis league Bundesliga within the 50+ category. Additionally, he is an enthusiastic writer and has authored a science fiction novel.
